Not all Kauravas were against Pandavas in Mahabharata

Bhima explained to Gandhari that if I had not killed Duryodhana unrighteously, he would have killed me. Gandhari said that you drank the blood of Dushasan, was that right? Then Bhima said that when Dushasan had caught Draupadi’s hair, at that time I had made such a promise. If I do not fulfill my vow, I will not be able to follow Kshatriya Dharma. But the blood of sorrow did not go beyond my teeth.

Yudhishthira’s nails had turned black

Bhima used to say good and bad to Dhritarashtra

After Yudhishthira became the king, Arjuna, Nakula, Sahadeva, Draupadi was always engage in the service of Dhritarashtra and Gandhari, but Bhima always keep calling Dhritarashtra good and bad. Thus Dhritarashtra, Gandhari lived with the Pandavas for 15 years. One day Bhima said some such things in front of Dhritarashtra and Gandhari, which they were very sad to hear. Then Dhritarashtra decided to go to Vanprastha Ashram (living in the forest). Gandhari also agreed to go to the forest with Dhritarashtra. Along with Dhritarashtra and Gandhari, Vidura, Sanjay and Kunti also went to the forest.

This is how Vidurji died

Dhritarashtra, Gandhari, Kunti and Vidura were doing severe penance while living in the forest. Then one day Yudhishthira along with all the Pandavas came to meet him. When Yudhishthira along with Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti did not see Vidura, he asked Dhritarashtra about him. Dhritarashtra told that he is doing severe penance. Then Vidur appeared coming in that direction, but seeing so many people in the ashram, Vidurji returned again. Yudhishthira ran back and forth to meet him. Then he saw Vidurji standing under a tree in the forest. At the same time, life emerged from Vidura’s body and merged with Yudhishthira. (Because Mahatma Vidura and Yudhishthira were born from the part of Dharmaraja (Yamraj).)

All the warriors were alive for one night

When Yudhishthira went to the forest to meet Dhritarashtra, at the same time Maharishi Ved Vyas also came to the ashram. He said that all the heroes who were killed in the war, you will be able to see them tonight. Maharishi took everyone to the banks of the Ganges. At night, Maharishi Ved Vyas called for all the dead warriors. Within no time, Bhishma, Dronacharya, Karna, Duryodhana, Dushasan, Abhimanyu, Ghatotkacha, Draupadi’s five sons, etc., came out of the water. Everyone’s heart was filled with joy on seeing their dead relatives. In the morning they again returned to their world. Thus ended that wonderful night.

How did Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti die?

According to the Mahabharata, after the war, Dhritarashtra and Gandhari lived with the Pandavas for 15 years. After this he along with Kunti, Vidhur and Sanjay went to the forest to do penance. One day when he was coming to the ashram after taking a bath in the Ganges, then a fierce fire broke out in the forest. Due to weakness, Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti were unable to escape. So he thought of sacrificing his life in that fire and sat there concentrating. Thus Dhritarashtra, Gandhari and Kunti gave up their lives.
